Wah Wing Szechuan Restaurant

This is easily the best Chinese restaurant in PoCo. Their dimsum is good and can be ordered all day. Beef and Broccoli is first class. I highly recommend the scrambled egg and shrimp which is silky smooth. Oyster omelette and crab in season also.

Although this unassuming restaurant looks very much closed from the outside (we only went in because they had an open sign), but it’s actually pretty spacious and welcoming on the inside. Lots of big round tables and limited tables for 4 people. Their menu for lunch was a bit confusing with both the dim sum menu and the regular menu and another lunch menu that was different from the lunch menu in the main menu. There were a lot of options to choose from so we were a little overwhelmed. Prices were good for the portions and service was quick. We ordered 5 dishes for 3 people to share. We ordered the hot and sour soup (really great taste, not too spicy), the pork bao from the dim sum menu (nothing special and too much bun to meat ratio), salt and pepper squid from the lunch menu (flavourful and good value at 10.95), the special fried rice (flavourful and good value at 14.95), and the tofu which had good texture and was cooked well, but was a bit less flavourful. Overall it was a great meal and we spent 75 with tax and tips for three people. The employees have lunch at 3 pm so be sure to come earlier for lunch or come after 5 pm for dinner. There are lots of parking spaces as this restaurant is located in a plaza close to the BC Liquor Store.

Hadn’t been for a while. Food was really good and service super friendly. Good size portions. I would prefer a menu with pictures though.

Very good Chinese food, some of the best we’ve tried! Brought my family of 18 there and everyone had a very positive review to leave. The restaurant is clean, nicely decorated and the service is phenomenal, on top of amazing Chinese food. 100% recommend. Accommodated us no problem and efficiently being a large group.

This is our go-to Chinese restaurant! We’ve ordered to-go, delivery, and dine-in. Personally, I prefer the dine-in experience. The servers are so friendly, thoughtful, and love connecting with regulars. I adore them so much! Highly recommend: -Crystal Shrimp is THE best -Lotus wrap is made in-house!!! Omg yum -My daughter loves the spring roll with seaweed and prawns Oh my gosh... I want some now.

My husband and I have been craving for a good Chinese food. We have done take out here many times before, it's our first time dining in actually. I am so amazed on how good the service is at this restaurant. Food came out fast and it was delicious. Did not disappoint . Thank you wahwing, we will definitely dine in again.

They offer Chinese food from all different regions. So whether yo like spicy food or mild they have it all from Dim Sum to delicious food .Best service in the area You won’t be disappointed Shirley B
